Who We Are
While working with wood over decades, we’ve come across hundreds of handyman requests. So our expertise is based on direct experience and knowledge. Handyman work from full cosmetic renovations for any room, replacing floors, refinishing decks and demolition to small jobs such as installing faucets and assembling shelves, no problem.
You can count on us — if we say we’ll be there, we’ll be there and ready to work, complete your project in a timely manner and give you a finished product you can be proud of.
Patrick is the technician of SWHR. His passion for wood works comes from a long family lineage of Arkansan carpenters. He not only knows how to work with wood -- he knows wood, a dying sensibility. His core passion is finishing, as he loves the technical prowess and creativity required. But if you need shelving or a chest or a bed built from scratch (or assembled), he can help. Rest assured, he’s a perfectionist whether he be building from a vision sketched on a napkin or simple Ikea instructions. Beyond this, Patrick is sensitive to deadlines, as well as, altering plans in mid stream with reasonable notice. So you can rely on timely completion, as well as, his friendly, reliable, objective insights as your project unfolds. Patrick enjoys spending his free time mountain biking, hiking with his Aussie Shepherd, Tonka, and noodling on guitar.
Pamela is business head and Patrick’s life partner. She is a 30 year PR, mgmt, marketing professional who returned to the PNW in 2017 after a 25 year stint living and running her own businesses in NYC. She fully understands the importance of meeting deadlines, client expectations, as well as, producing/managing small, medium and large projects from soup to nuts. You can count on her to see that your project’s train runs on time, communication is fluid and follow through is seamless! Pamela enjoys spending free time with her Maine Coon, Chi, mountain biking and hiking with Patrick, as well as, working on her Cap Hill bar/resto.
